The theme of the 2026 ISMPP APAC Meeting is “One Region, Many Voices: Publication Equity in APAC”, and aims to showcase the diversity of medical publication across the vast Asia-Pacific region, as well as strategies to strengthen publication equity and amplify these voices. The diversity of APAC is a key message of the 2026 ISMPP APAC Meeting, therefore the top original research abstracts will be showcased as oral presentations after the Opening Remarks, true to the theme of making diverse APAC voices heard.
We are calling for abstract submissions in the following categories
- Original research – This is for any original hypothesis-driven work. Can also include case studies which address pertinent issues for publication professionals in the APAC region
- Encores – Any work that has been presented at the 2026 ISMPP Annual or European meetings
If you are working on research or initiatives that fit with the meeting theme, please submit your abstracts by 6 July, 2026.
The Abstract Committee will review all abstracts via a blinded, peer-review process. Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on originality, innovation, and relevance to the meeting theme. As part of our goal to provide more opportunities for research in APAC to be shared, accepted abstracts will be presented as virtual posters in the week prior to the meeting in Hong Kong (more details to follow), with the top 2 abstracts invited to give oral presentations onsite.
