About me
Atsuko Iwata is a team leader of Global Scientific Communications - Japan Publications at Eli Lilly Japan, where she leads the medical publications team within the Japan Drug Development and Medical Affairs organization. She has over 15 years of experience in medical writing and scientific communications, including regulatory document development with contributions to multiple drug approval applications, as well as publication planning and delivery. In her current role, she is responsible for planning and delivering all scientific publications originating from Lilly Japan, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders within Japan and global counterparts to ensure globally aligned and consistent evidence dissemination through publications. Outside her role at Lilly, she has presented at DIA Japan and the Japan Medical Communications Association (JMCA).
