A major global shift in evidence generation, publication, and dissemination is underway, and local evidence generated in APAC increasingly has the potential to influence regulatory and clinical decisions across markets worldwide. This session will discuss the ongoing trends and key shifts in evidence generation from a global perspective, and then pivot to one of the largest markets in APAC – Japan, to explore examples of developing local real-world evidence beyond database studies, as well as how this local evidence can be communicated with impact to global audiences. The session will lead into a roundtable discussion on how stakeholders across APAC are experiencing and interacting with global shifts and trends in evidence generation, and will allow the audience to share their valuable experiences regarding pain points and effective strategies.
