The APAC region is highly diverse in terms of culture, languages, economic development, and healthcare accessibility, and these factors have an important impact on medical publication planning and delivery. This session highlights the varying information needs and consumption patterns across APAC, and brings together pharma, agency, and publisher stakeholders to share their perspectives on current trends, challenges, and strategies for APAC medical publication. The subsequent panel discussion provides an opportunity for these different stakeholders and the audience to explore best practices of publication planning and delivery in APAC together, thereby enabling a better mutual understanding of the activities and considerations involved for different stakeholders working in different regions. This mutual understanding can help to build a supportive APAC framework to facilitate cross-border and cross-functional collaboration.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the needs and information consumption/interpretation differences across APAC.
  • Discuss various approaches and strategies used to meet the different needs of different APAC audiences.
  • Design and execute effective publication and delivery to address the perspectives of different APAC stakeholders.

This session has been approved for 1.25 CMPP credits
